P.E.T SOLUTIONS
Wellplast PET technologies encompass high-output blow molding manufacturing, packaging customization, and sustainable options to meet the PET packaging needs of products in a wide range of applications. Surface barriers provide added product protection against oxygen while maintaining maximum flavor and freshness.
Custom Plastic Injection Molding
Specializing in close-tolerance injection molding of small plastic parts, we provide a total concept solution from design and tooling to production, fulfillment, and packaging. The combined effort of our designers and toolmakers results in molds that ensure quality, precision tolerances, and optimized cycle times. We have the capacity to mold parts with complex geometries and variations in wall thickness. Our core competencies have centered on small (index card size or smaller), high volume custom plastic components but we do have the capacity to mold larger parts using our 720 ton hybrid molding press.
Injection Molded Parts for the Food & Beverage Industry
The food and beverage industry is heavily regulated to ensure containers, industrial process components, and other parts comply with safety standards. As such, manufacturers use food-grade plastic materials for part design and construction, including plastic injection molding. Plastic injection processes can create complex, identical goods with a low risk of error. This makes plastic an increasingly popular alternative to metal, with specific advantages regarding food and beverage safety.
LOGISTICS SERVICES
At wellplast we offer our customers a wide range of value-added, effective logistics services, handling all aspects of production management from point of origin to final destination including the storage, packing, tracking, and transportation of goods. We work with our customers to develop programs tailored to suit their business needs and goals, with program elements that are integrated seamlessly into existing operations. Available services include procurement, inventory control, receiving, sorting, warehousing, relabeling, repacking, tracking/notification, and transportation services.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Cutting lead time on repeat orders is made possible with our large finished goods warehouse. This capacity enables us to offer our customers the opportunity to enter blanket orders with split shipment releases as their production needs dictate.We also utilize a computer-based bar code system to facilitate our Just-In-Time and warehousing programs. This system allows us to accurately keep track of customer product, status and current inventory levels. Our customers depend on us to maintain accurate information and delivery schedules.
WAREHOUSE
Our work doesn't stop after we've completed a customer's order. wellplast will store the order in our warehouse, either in bulk, or in specialized packaging. We release a portion of the order to the customer, when they need it.
